So far we have discussed buying clothes, and hoarding clothes. And I know I've advised you against throwing out anything for fear of it coming back in style and desperately wanting that old thing back. BUT sometimes you make impulse purchases and they sit there, tags on, mocking and judging you.. maybe you've outgrown them, or there's something new and exciting you wish to trade it in for, a little upgrade perhaps. Well lucky for you there are many avenues to sell your stuff online in Toronto without sharing the profits on a consignment split. Here are a few tried and tested online apps, sites & groups to sell (and let's be real, buy) clothes, shoes and accessories. Whether they are designer or just some staple department store pieces, these places have it all and then some. And you get to keep 100% of the profits. As always buyer/seller beware; do not send money online without securing your purchase first (always secure the bag), always meet in a public place for an exchange (Vacation in Toronto's luxury suites have 24 hour concierge service so you are always safe to meet in the lobby) and check out your potential purchase before handing over cash. Last but certainly not least, watch out for creepers who ask for pictures of the shoes you are selling on your feet.. foot fetishes are a real thing, true story!

Personally, my most successful buys/sells/trades online have been through Facebook groups. I shipped a LuluLemon windbreaker to a girl in Peterborough just last week. I texted her the tracking number, received and accepted her email transfer and Canada Post did the rest!

A friend of mine has had a lot of success with both buying and selling items on Let Go. I've had a lot of people low ball me, waste my time and creep me out. But I still use it and hope for the best!

I have not had much experience with Carousell, but a few friends have and swear by it!

Last and kind of least, Kijiji & Craigslist. I would say these two are a last resort when it comes to clothing resale because their categories are so broad.
