The Raptors continued to show the world their growth this past weekend after coming from behind against a tough Washington team and pulling together a sloppy 4th quarter meltdown against the Charlotte Hornets. Honestly speaking, if this was last year, we would have lost both games.
HOWEVER, The Toronto Raptors are first place in the East for a reason. We are a better team than last year. Whether it’s the first unit, or the fountain of youth that follows, the Raptors are streaking at the right time and are making some serious noise around the league.
Toronto currently holds the best home record in the NBA at 26-5 and sits third in the NBA with a 45-17 overall record. They are on a four game winning streak and have shown no ways of slowing down. With a 1.5 game lead over the Celtics in the East, Toronto will have some tough upcoming games against teams like
Houston and Indiana to prove to whatever hater left out
there that the #NorthIsComing.
The strong play from the Raptors can only mean so much in the regular season. It is important to stay hot but also translate this winning culture into playoff wins. And im not talking game 7 wins. I’m talking straight sweeps in the first two rounds.
